Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Designing and developing a menu that includes traditional Bengali dishes such as Bhuna Khichuri, Ilish Bhapa, Shorshe Ilish, Chingri Malai Curry, and more.
∎ Preparing ingredients such as chopping vegetables, portioning meat, and mixing sauces.
∎ Cooking items like burgers, fries, sandwiches, pizzas, and fried chicken according to standard recipes and procedures.
∎ Designing a menu that includes a diverse range of Thai and Korean dishes, such as Pad Thai, Tom Yum, Kimchi, Bibimbap, and Bulgogi.
∎ Sourcing high-quality, authentic ingredients specific to both Thai and Korean cuisines, including spices, herbs, sauces, and fresh produce.
∎ Sourcing fresh and high-quality ingredients, with a focus on traditional Bengali spices, fish, and produce.
∎ Preparing ingredients through marination, grinding of spices, and other pre-cooking activities that are specific to Bengali cuisine.
∎ Managing kitchen operations including the supervision of sous chefs, cooks, and kitchen helpers.
∎ Ensuring a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment that adheres to hygiene and sanitation standards.
∎ Tasting dishes to ensure quality and authenticity.
∎ Training kitchen staff on the preparation and cooking of Bengali dishes.
∎ Keeping up with new trends in Bengali cuisine and incorporating them into the menu.
∎ Adhering to food safety and health regulations.
