Experience:
Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience in Plastic Closure/Cap Manufacturing industries will be given preference.
Candidates with hands-on experience operating Compression Molding Machines (CCM) will receive priority.
Ability to work in rotating shifts.
Leadership capability (mandatory for the In charge position).
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Good coordination with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning departments.
To operate, monitor, and maintain Compression Molding Machines (CCM) for the production of high-quality plastic closures and caps while ensuring optimum machine efficiency, product quality, safety compliance, and uninterrupted production.
Operate, set up, and monitor Compression Molding Machines efficiently.
Perform machine start-up, shutdown, changeover, and parameter setting as per production requirements.
Monitor and adjust production parameters including temperature, pressure, cycle time, and cooling time to achieve optimum performance.
Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining machine efficiency.
Minimize production interruptions and maintain continuous machine operation.
Coordinate smooth shift handover with complete production information.
Produce CSD caps and plastic closures according to approved quality standards.
Inspect finished products for dimensions, weight, torque, leakage, visual defects, top load, and other quality parameters.
Identify production defects and implement corrective actions promptly.
Ensure all products comply with customer specifications and quality requirements.
Perform mold installation, mold changeover, and basic mold maintenance.
Operate and monitor PLC/HMI systems for machine control and basic fault identification.
Understand and process HDPE, PP, and other plastic raw materials effectively.
Possess basic knowledge of Injection Molding Machine operation and maintenance.
Support cap printing operations and monitor print quality where applicable.
Follow daily machine checklists and participate in preventive maintenance activities.
Perform first-level troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Quickly identify machine faults and coordinate corrective actions to reduce downtime.
Ensure machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment remain clean, functional, and well-maintained.
Assist the maintenance team during machine breakdowns and repairs.
Prepare and maintain daily Production Reports, Downtime Reports, Rejection Reports, and Machine Log Books.
Monitor machine performance, production efficiency, and rejection rates.
Minimize raw material wastage and improve production productivity.
Report operational issues, machine abnormalities, and quality concerns to supervisors.
Strictly follow company Safety Rules, SOPs, GMP, and 5S practices.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing activities where applicable.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards throughout the production process.
