Job Context

Civil Tech Consultant is a leading engineering and construction consultancy firm in Bangladesh, providing comprehensive services including Architectural Design, Structural Design, MEP Design, and Construction Supervision in compliance with BNBC 2020.

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated CAD Operator to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and drafting works for both structural and architectural projects, along with assisting in quantity take-off and BOQ preparation.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in RCC and Steel structure detailing and must be capable of working under tight deadlines with high accuracy.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural drawings including:

  • RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) detailing (beam, column, slab, footing, stair, etc.)

  • Steel structure detailing (connection details, truss, PEB components)

• Develop architectural working drawings such as:

  • Floor plans, elevations, sections

  • Door-window schedules and layout drawings

• Perform AutoCAD drafting and detailing based on design inputs from engineers and architects

• Assist in BOQ (Bill of Quantities) preparation:

  • Quantity take-off from drawings

  • Preparation of estimation sheets as per project requirements

• Modify and revise drawings as per design changes and site requirements

• Ensure all drawings comply with BNBC 2020 and project specifications

• Maintain proper drawing documentation, version control, and file management

• Coordinate with Structural Engineers, Architects, and Site Engineers for accurate execution drawings

• Support project team in preparing submission drawings for RAJUK / Authority approval

• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and quality of all drafting outputs
