∎ A degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field will be an advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The position is mainly responsible for the below tasks:
∎ Create and develop garment patterns using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
∎ Collaborate with the design and product development teams to understand their requirements and translate their ideas into digital designs.
∎ Generate 2D and 3D virtual prototypes for garments to facilitate visualization and optimize design iterations.
∎ Implement pattern grading for various sizes to maintain consistency across the product range.
∎ Participate in fit sessions and make necessary adjustments to patterns based on feedback from the technical team and designers.
∎ Stay updated with industry trends, new CAD technologies, and best practices to enhance design efficiency.
∎ Work closely with production teams to ensure a smooth transition from design to manufacturing.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proven experience as a CAD Designer in the garment industry or related field.
∎ Proficiency in using CAD software for pattern making and 3D virtual prototyping (e.g., Optitex, Gerber Accumark, Lectra, Winda, etc.).
∎ In-depth knowledge of garment construction, pattern grading, and technical specifications.
∎ Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, and the garment production process.
∎ Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
∎ Detail-oriented with a passion for creating accurate and innovative designs.
∎ A degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field will be an advantage.
