∎ As a Business Analyst, you’ll become a core member of the SELISE Business Development team and offer your unique set of skills to add value to any project or product that we take on.
∎ A Business Analyst is expected to handle two streams of core responsibilities- mainly that of a Consultant and a Product Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ You will have to use your understanding of business and markets to consult various clients. You will have to understand their business, offer solutions, and decide on a product that is not only best for the customer but brings true value to the end consumer.
∎ You will start with core strategic questions, such as why does a customer want to invest in a digital product and what will be the business goals that the users of that product, the actors, can achieve by using it. You will then go into business process engineering and re-engineering by figuring out how a customer is actually creating value and how his way of doing things could be improved.
∎ In carefully planned product discovery sessions you will figure out about their needs and sketch minimum viable products for them and the team of developers in order to give a visual idea of the user interaction and functionality that improve the customer’s competitiveness in their markets.
∎ You will have to understand the scope of a project and will learn to manage resources. You will primarily act as a bridge between the client and the technical team that is involved in the core development.
∎ While managing your team, you’ll learn how to break down a complex product into manageable releases and focus on an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) to expedite the time-to-market. You’ll write user stories from the agreed feature list, and plan your sprints so that you can meet the development milestones.
∎ Your ability to organize will be fully tested as you must balance managing your team’s capabilities and your client expectations while keeping the management updated of your progress with the project.

∎ You’re a conceptual thinker – you pick up new concepts easily and have no issues applying them to new situations. You thrive on solving problems and love thinking up brilliant ideas.
∎ You are organized and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You can write in an articulated structured manner.
∎ You are adaptable and not afraid to explore.
∎ You should have a penchant for everything digital.
∎ You are driven to excel in this fast-paced environment and have the ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions.
∎ If you really want to stand out from the crowd, skills in Powerpoint, Google Drive, and Photoshop, and a basic appreciation of the software development process will help.
