Graduation or Post-Graduation in Commerce/MBA/BBA from any UGC approved local or reputable foreign universities with no third class or equivalent in any certification.
At least 14 years of uninterrupted service experience in Branch Banking operation with at least 5 years as Corporate Branch Manager in reputed commercial banks.
Sound knowledge in Islamic Shariah based banking is preferable.
Strategic business planning with large customer base and strong recovery ability.
Corporate Designation may be relaxed for exceptionally deserving candidates.
To lead and manage all branch operations within the assigned region in alignment with Islamic banking principles. Responsible for achieving business targets, ensuring Shariah compliance, managing risk, improving service quality, and promoting the bank’s Islamic products and services.
Job Description:
Drive the strategic goals of the Islamic banking division in the region.
Develop and execute region-specific sales and business growth plans.
Promote awareness and adoption of Islamic banking products and services.
Monitor regional market trends and identify new business opportunities.
Supervise and support branch managers in achieving branch performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with Shariah principles and operational policies.
Optimize regional branch performance in terms of profitability, service quality, and operational efficiency.
Conduct periodic visits to cluster branches (at least once in a quarter) to review performance, risk, and compliance.
Strengthen relationships with key clients, institutions, and community stakeholders.
Lead initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and service delivery.
Oversee the resolution of high-level customer issues.
Ensure that all banking activities in the region adhere strictly to Islamic banking principles.
Liaise with the Shariah Advisory Board or Department for guidance and compliance reviews.
Promote staff awareness and training on Shariah-compliant practices.
Lead, mentor, and manage the regional team, including Branch Managers and Cluster Heads.
Conduct training and development for staff on Islamic banking principles and business practices.
Monitor performance, provide feedback, and implement development plans.
Ensure regional compliance with regulatory, operational, and Shariah governance frameworks.
Address audit findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Monitor credit risk, operational risk, and reputational risk in the region.
