Educational Requirements:
∎ BCS/ B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering from any UGC approved university
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Operate System/SAN/Backup Administration and monitor daily to ensure service is running optimally within its capacity limit.
∎ Coordinates with IT team and cross-functional departments in order to understand and meet their requirements on time
∎ Define/decide IT Platform road-map based on stakeholders need, technology, trend & business requirements
∎ Plan and implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans to make certain network capacity and plans meet existing and future requirements.
∎ Ensure capacity planning upgrades and optimize existing Server, Storage and Backup of DCs on internal as well as external segments.
∎ Ensure 99.99% service uptime of all platform services, execute all platform-related queries, lead, implement, and perform audits on a quarterly basis.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Advanced knowledge on Linux based Operating Systems (Redhat, Centos, Debian), SAN and Backup administration.
∎ Hands on knowledge of Operating System Cluster Administration, package management, user administration, process and memory optimizations.
∎ Practical experience of automation in linux environment using ansible, puppet etc.
∎ Thorough knowledge in Information Security concepts and technologies.
∎ Practical experience and in-depth knowledge of hardening of linux distros - Redhat, Centos, Debian.
∎ Practical knowledge of bash scripting.
∎ Thorough knowledge of administration and deployment in microservices application platform (docker, Kubernetes) with hands on experience.
∎ In-depth knowledge SAN and Backup Monitoring, Network monitoring, operations handling, policies and process implementation capabilities.
∎ Experience on planning and execution of Service Migration with minimal down time where direct business is involved.
∎ Sound knowledge of IT Audit processes and practical experience in SOX-ITGC.
∎ Practical experience in highly available infrastructure platform design for critical applications.
∎ Performance analysis of enterprise SAN/NAS storages.
∎ Thorough knowledge in Backup and Recovery of platform and applications.
∎ Thorough knowledge in IT Service Management concept and processes.
