Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering from any UGC approved university
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Operate large scale data processing infrastructure (Teradata, Informatica, Hadoop, Spark, Airflow etc.) with DataOps techniques to ensure on time delivery of quality data
∎ Design, build & implement tools to automate & monitor ETL operation and data distribution
∎ Triage, Diagnose & Fix the operational error immediately in coordination with other data engineers and notify the upstream team in case of any anomaly found at data source and follow-up for rectification
∎ Maintenance of existing ETL jobs and develop new data pipeline
∎ Work closely with DBA, System Admin and other IT teams for ensuring performance, uptime & capacity of data management platform(DMP).
∎ Maintain & automate housekeeping of different data assets as per retention policy
∎ Follow-up proper process and procedure for delivery and operations as per guideline of Information Security and Internal Audit
Additional Requirements:
∎ 2-3 years of experience in relevant field
∎ Candidates having DevOps related experience will get preference
∎ Understanding end to end service delivery life cycle including business analysis, build, test and run as per defined organization standards
∎ Strong knowledge in SQL & RDMBS based ETL flow
∎ Hands on experience working on Data storage & processing Technologies (Any of Teradata/Spark/Kafka/Hive)
∎ Hands on Python/Java Programming Expertise
∎ Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skill
∎ Business stakeholder management skill
∎ Pro-active and good team player
∎ Flexible and positive attitude towards engagement and business urgency
∎ Ability to work under pressure and tight schedule
