Battery Technician Roles
Battery technicians specialize in the care, repair, and testing of battery systems. [1, 2]

• Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventative maintenance on industrial batteries and chargers, including cleaning, replacing cells, and fixing cables.

• Testing & Diagnostics: Diagnose battery faults, monitor charging cycles, and test electrical systems to ensure they meet specifications.

• Assembly & Research: In lab or production settings, they may produce battery cells for testing, work with different chemistries (e.g., lithium-ion), and conduct safety tests like abuse trials.

• Safety Compliance: Ensure all procedures comply with safety regulations for handling hazardous chemicals
