Experience:
Identify new business opportunities in government, semi-government, institutional, and private sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, procurement officials, consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, and partners.
Research upcoming tenders, procurement notices, market trends, and potential project opportunities.
Develop and maintain a database of potential clients, suppliers, and project leads.
Arrange and attend meetings with clients, principals, OEMs, and strategic partners.
Prepare company introductions, presentations, proposals, and business correspondence.
Follow up with clients and partners regularly to convert leads into business opportunities.
Support management in developing business strategies for new sectors, products, and markets.
Monitor tender portals, newspapers, procurement websites, and client announcements for relevant opportunities.
Review tender documents and summarize key requirements, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, deadlines, and submission procedures.
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and principals to collect technical offers, financial offers, authorization letters, compliance documents, catalogues, certificates, and supporting documents.
Prepare tender checklists, compliance sheets, technical deviations, commercial summaries, and submission documents.
Ensure all tender documents are complete, accurate, professionally formatted, and submitted within deadline.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for bid preparation, pricing, documentation, and clarifications.
Prepare and submit tender queries, clarification requests, and official correspondence.
Maintain proper records of submitted tenders, pending opportunities, awarded projects, and follow-up actions.
Support post-submission activities including technical clarification, negotiation, contract finalization, and project execution coordination.
Communicate with international and local suppliers to source products, technical documents, pricing, delivery timelines, warranty details, and compliance support.
Evaluate supplier capability based on technical compliance, pricing, delivery, certification, and previous experience.
Coordinate authorization, agency, distributorship, and project-based representation documents when required.
Maintain strong working relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, trading companies, and logistics partners.
Prepare professional emails, letters, meeting notes, reports, and management updates.
Maintain organized records of tenders, quotations, client communications, supplier offers, and project files.
Prepare weekly or monthly business development and tender status reports.
Track opportunity pipeline, tender deadlines, submission status, and expected outcomes.
Support management with commercial analysis, competitor analysis, and bid strategy.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, International Business, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, tender management, procurement, project sales, or institutional sales.
Experience working with government tenders, procurement processes, or international suppliers will be highly preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bangla.
Excellent documentation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, and email communication.
Proficient in AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc
Ability to read and understand tender documents, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadline pressure.
Experience with defense, industrial, aviation, construction, engineering, fire safety, logistics, or institutional supply sectors.
Knowledge of LC, FOB, CIF, payment terms, warranty, delivery terms, and import/export documentation.
Ability to prepare compliance sheets, comparison tables, technical summaries, and financial proposals.
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
Ability to communicate professionally with international manufacturers and local clients.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
