Sound knowledge of Rotogravure Printing Technology, printing inks, flexible polymer films, and flexible packaging materials. Understanding of flexible packaging production processes and related machinery. Knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection techniques, and documentation requirements. Familiarity with Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), food-grade packaging requirements, and relevant safety standards. Basic knowledge of laboratory testing methods, calibration procedures, and quality management systems

Ability to motivate and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Understanding of production operations and quality control processes. Intermediate proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet, and Email. Capability to support online production planning and data management activities. Attention to detail and accuracy in inspection and record-keeping.

Responsibilities & Context:
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts as per operational requirements.

  • Ensure proper inspection, verification, and documentation of all incoming raw materials, and report findings to the respective personnel.

  • Conduct in-process quality inspections during production with a strong focus on wastage control, and report any deviations or concerns to the supervisor.

  • Perform random inspections of outgoing finished goods in coordination with the Packing Section, maintain proper documentation, and report results to the appropriate authority.

  • Maintain and update quality-related reports and registers, including but not limited to: Quality Exception Report (QER), Quality Check Certificate, Food Grade Certificate for Used Materials and Other quality records as required.

  • Prepare chemicals, reagents, and other materials required for laboratory testing, and report test-related activities and observations to the supervisor.

  • Ensure proper calibration, standardization, and record maintenance of digital balances, weighing scales, and other measuring instruments, and report any discrepancies to the concerned personnel.

  • Maintain product and process Quality standards in compliance.

  • Identify product and process nonconformities and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

  • Continuous Improvement of Product Development.

  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment by ensuring team members are protected from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation. Support the implementation of safeguarding standards and serve as a key resource for guidance and awareness on safeguarding practices within the workplace.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time in support of organizational objectives.

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
