• Higher Secondary

• Prior experience as a Barista or in a customer service role will be preferred

• Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts as required

• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages including various types of coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.

• Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment efficiently and safely.

• Ensure consistency in beverage preparation, presentation, and quality according to café standards.

• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

• Take customer orders, process payments, and handle POS transactions accurately.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and service area.

• Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory needs to the supervisor.

• Assist in opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking.

• Comply with all health and safety guidelines and hygiene standards.

• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth café operations and customer satisfaction.

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation

• Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise in safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so
