Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with a solid understanding of ES6+ features.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with authentication and authorization frameworks (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with microservices architecture is a plus.

Role Description

We are looking for a talented and motivated Mid-Level Backend Developer to join our team on-site. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a focus on Node.js and Express, and a passion for building efficient and scalable backend systems. In this role, you will contribute to the development, optimization, and maintenance of our server-side applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and Express.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend and mobile applications.
• Optimize backend systems for maximum speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Manage and interact with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis).
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement and maintain security protocols, including authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software systems.
• Work with version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage and track code changes.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve your work.
