∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a Back end javascript engineer with extensive experience with Node.js and Firebase Cloud functions. Candidates must have practical experience with writing and deploying production grade APIs and microservices on Nodejs and serverless environments. We are looking for someone with experience who will be able to work on existing codebases with minimal supervision. If you think you have what it takes, please read on.
∎ Complete command over JavaScript and Modern JavaScript (ES6 & ESNext)
∎ Event based and asynchronous programming knowledge.
∎ Must have a solid understanding of git.
∎ Familiarity with JavascriptPackage Managers.
∎ Ability to write clean code and follow javascript best practices and enforcing that with available
∎ tools.
∎ Experience on developing Nodejs Application
∎ Ability to deploy Nodejs API on a production environment. (Hint: npm start on a Windows
∎ machine production environment)
∎ Experience working with Microservice models.
∎ Working experience with NoSQL Databases (MongoDB, CouchDB, Firestore)
∎ Experience with Serverless (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run).
∎ Ability to understand TypeScript
∎ Ability to code in TypeScript is a huge plus.
∎ Past experience working on Ride Sharing company is a huge plus.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work on existing firebase cloud functions
∎ Write new microservices with cloud functions
∎ Migrate cloud functions to standard nodejs APIs
∎ Work with existing codebase.
∎ Write new RESTFul APIs using Cloud Function or Standard Nodejs.
∎ Ability to solve problems using online help and documentation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 42 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Range: 20,000 - 50,000Salary is negotiable based on skills and experience
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Weekly 2 holidays
