• Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

• Proven experience in GMP-regulated environments.

• Experience with various pharmaceutical dosage forms (e.g., oral solids, liquids, sterile products) is a plus.

• Demonstrated experience in implementing continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).

Knowledge & Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.

• Thorough understanding of cGMP, FDA, ICH, and other relevant regulatory guidelines.

• Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.

• Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

• Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions.

Role Summary: The Production Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and control of all manufacturing activities within the pharmaceutical plant. This includes ensuring that products are produced efficiently, cost-effectively, on time, and to the highest quality standards, while strictly adhering to cGMP, EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) guidelines, and all relevant regulatory requirements.

Duties & responsibilities:

Meet production goals

• Planning, scheduling and optimizing production activities to meet production target

• Supervising the production process

• Monitor plant performance for the successful day to day operation and to achieve maximum efficiency, productivity & consistency in all production flow by production time loss calculation and gap analysis.

• Ensure effective utilization of resources like Machineries by maintaining equipment and Manpower by selecting best possible way of operators and potential manpower in cooperation with HR Department

• Ensure that production activities are maintained according to the SOP, Molder RPM & follow Std. Baking Time.

Ensure budgeted productivity and optimum machine life cycle

• Assess project and resource requirements, including manpower, materials, and equipment.

• Ensure production schedules are met within budget

• Adjust production schedules as needed to respond to changes in demand, raw material availability, or equipment issues.

Ensure product quality within specification

• Implement and enforce quality control standards, monitoring production processes and product standards;

• Analyze problems, solve and set the process parameters to achieve standard quality of product and independent troubleshooting in all stages during the production process.

Ensure compliance at production floor

• Implementing and maintaining international standards of ISO 22000 and related record & documents

• Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation condition in processing and production area.

Ensure wastage at minimum level

• Keep scrap and wastages at minimum level by monitoring process loss, wastage management and take necessary action accordingly.

Coordination, supervision & team development

• Coordinate with planning, supply chain, and sales departments to ensure alignment and timely availability of raw materials and components.
