Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement purchase strategies for raw materials, spare parts, and machinery.
∎ Forecast procurement needs based on production plans and market trends.
∎ Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for quality raw materials (cotton, polyester, etc.).
∎ Negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing with vendors to ensure cost efficiency.
∎ Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers.
∎ Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stock-outs.
∎ Coordinate with the production and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
∎ Ensure procurement is aligned with the approved budget.
∎ Continuously analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
∎ Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
∎ Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier performance data.
∎ Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure procured materials meet required standards.
∎ Address and resolve quality issues with suppliers proactively.
∎ Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and new suppliers.
∎ Evaluate and recommend new sourcing opportunities for cost or quality improvement.
∎ Procurement Planning and Strategy:
