• Must be well-groomed, hardworking, sincere, well-mannered, and a team player with strong intelligence and work ethics.

• Must independently handle any types of project audits and be fully responsible for preparing, reviewing, and updating Electrical Single Line Diagram (SLD) drawings.

• The applicant has competent knowledge on electrical maintenance for industrial machineries & equipment.

• The candidate should have capacity for trouble shooting of any electrical issues.

• Must know how to repair Generator, substations, Boiler Machine, Welding machine, submersible pump, electrical circuit etc.

• Candidate have communication skill in various platform/ regulatory institutes like REB/PWD & other institutes.

• Candidate have hands on experience on Electrical Automation system.

• Operation of internet, e-mailing (outlook), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Auto Cad.

• Excellent Reporting writing skills.Good leadership and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work under pressure and achieve set target and thereby, corporate goals.

Responsibilities & Context:

1.    Electrical System Management:

• Oversee installation, operation and maintenance of all electrical systems of the entire project.

• Ensure smooth functioning of transformers, generators, switchgear, boiler and distribution networks.

• Monitor load balancing and power consumption efficiency.

• Oversee and manager the overall Electrical & Utility operations of the entire factory to ensure uninterrupted production.

• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of Substations, Transformers, HT/LT Panels and Electrical Distribution Systems.

• Ensure Continuous utility support for all production units of the plant.

2. Utility Operation:

• Manage & Supervise and monitor all utility equipment including power, gas, water, steam, boilers, air compressors and HVAC systems.

• Ensure continuous and cost-effective utility supply across the factory.

• Monitor utility KPIs and take corrective actions for any deviations.

• Optimize utility consumption to reduce wastage and improve efficiency.

3. Maintenance & Planning:

• Develop and implement Preventive & Corrections Maintenance plans for all electrical and utility systems.

• Reduce downtime through effective troubleshooting and maintenance strategies.

• Coordinate with production teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.

• Monitor and optimize energy consumption to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency.

4. Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure full compliance with plant/project standards.

• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.

• Maintain proper documentation for compliance and audits.

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, BNBC, fire safety and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure electrical safety practices including LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) are followed.

• Train all team members on safety procedures and emergency response.

5. Automation & Technology:

• Oversee automation systems and ensure efficient integration of electrical controls.

• Implement modern energy-saving technologies and smart systems.

• Identify and implement digital solutions for energy optimization.

• Work with PCL, SCADA and other industrial automation systems.

6. Equipment Management:

• Supervise operation and maintenance of boilers and generators.

• Ensure optimal performance and safety of all utility equipment.

• Monitor equipment efficiency and life cycle performance.

• Plan for timely replacement or upgrade of outdated equipment.

7. Team Leadership:

• Lead, train and manage the electrical and utility team.

• Ensure proper manpower planning and shift scheduling.

• Evaluate team performance and conduct regular training programs.

• Develop a strong safety and performance-driven team culture.

8. Project Management:

• Handle new installations, capacity expansion and system upgrades.

• Coordinate with vendors, contractors and consultants.

• Prepare projects budgets, timelines and progress reports.

• Ensure projects are completed within time and cost constraints.

9. Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain records of maintenance, breakdowns, and energy usage.

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for management review.

• Analyze data to identity trends and improvement opportunities.

• Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance checks.

• Performs other works assigned by management.
