Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To analyze Clients' requirements for fabrics and developments and ensure that fabric quality is achievable and can be maintained from development through to bulk delivery.
∎ To provide fabric technical support to Product Development and Merchandising teams Maintain a fabric resource library to support seasonal inspiration as well as archive of previous production fabrications.
∎ Keep an organized area and files so that fabric/yarns and developments are easily traceable for the Development Merchandisers.
∎ Managing fabric relationships with Client fabric teams ensuring that fabric procedures are met.
∎ Support product integrity by facilitating the testing of all fabrics prior to bulk orders and reviewing test failures with product development/production teams.
∎ Maintain fabric development calendar and adhere to seasonal calendar deadlines.
