∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Daily planning of all the finishing operations for ensuring quality production and timely delivery.
∎ Executing the work plans as per given timelines and action plans.
∎ Setting up programs , parameters and synchronisations of the machine plans to ensure optimum utilization of the capacity.
∎ Supervising all the activities of employees working on finishing floor.
∎ Ensuring all required demands of the buyers are met as in fabric appearances and lab results.
∎ Carrying out all the compliance activities related to the finishing department.
∎ Ensuring the complete safety and security of all employees and machines on the floor.
∎ Monitoring and solving all the quality related issues for fabric finishing unit.
∎ Coordinating with other departments to meet the error free and timely deliveries.
∎ Ensuring all the finishing activities like labelling, pressing , tagging are done on timely basis.
∎ Working on the Process Loss Management by converting an input raw material into finished products and calculating the difference between both of them to get optimum results during fabric finishing.
∎ Conducting research and development of the complete fabric finishing area.
∎ Responsible for the shade management on the fabric finishing area.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 36 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must be proficient and fluent in English;
∎ Ability to work under pressure;
∎ Must have excellent computer operating skill, particularly in MS Word, Excel and Power Point;
∎ Well Behaved and convincing;
∎ Exposure of textile production management & ready-made garment manufacturing (different segments) is must.
∎ In depth knowledge of knitted fabrics, yarn dyed fabrics, .
∎ Understanding of fabric and ready-made garments dynamics.
∎ Knowledge of EU textile industry/fashion trends is preferable.
∎ Knowledge of buyer house compliances and regulatory rules is preferable.
∎ Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) is preferable
