Responsibilities & Context: SNOWTEX Outerwear Ltd. a concern of SNOWTEX Group, is seeking some skilled and proactive "Asst. Engineer/ Asst. Manager (IT Department)" to oversee factory IT operations, ensuring smooth network, system, and infrastructure performance to support production and administrative functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Overseeing the deployment and maintenance of the network infrastructure.
- Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows and Linux-based environments.
- Manage company IT infrastructure, including servers (Windows/Linux), networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, Firewall, VPN, IP Phone server etc.)
- Perform routine maintenance and health checks for systems and network equipment.
- Provide prompt IT support to employees for any technical issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and network diagrams.
- Implementing updates and firmware for Mikrotik routers, switches, and access points.
- Supporting end users with network-related issues and connectivity challenges.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and continuous learning.
- Experience writing incident reports, RCA summaries, or user-facing updates.
- Result-oriented, disciplined, and capable of handling pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain proper documentation of IT assets, installations and troubleshooting activities.
- Engaging with users to identify and resolve software, networking, or hardware issues.
- Develop, review, and implement administrative policies, procedures, and workflow systems for operational efficiency.
