Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct research and development (R&D) for engine oil & other lubricant formulations to improve product effectiveness.
∎ Ensure quality control by testing raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products in accordance with industry standards.
∎ Develop and optimize formulations for both mono and multi grade lubricant products.
∎ Perform stability studies and chemical analysis to ensure long-term product quality.
∎ Collaborate with the production team to enhance manufacturing processes and troubleshoot formulation-related issues.
∎ Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (BSTI, ISO etc.) and safety protocols in chemical handling.
∎ Analyze market trends and competitor products to recommend improvements in existing formulations.
∎ Test and validate new raw materials for potential cost and performance benefits.
∎ Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including formulation sheets, test reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
∎ Ensure adherence to environmental and workplace safety regulations while handling chemicals and laboratory equipment.
