Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervisory Responsibilities:
∎ Trains and oversees the work of subordinate employee relations employee
∎ Assist in Supervising and directing staff compliance with Bank’s Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Procedure for pan bank
∎ Ensures compliance with human resource policies and procedures by subordinate employees
∎ Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
∎ Duties/Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitates the employee relations program and related functions
∎ Oversee employee compliance with Bank’s Code of Conduct, Disciplinary Procedure and complaints related to staffs
∎ Contributing to the planning, budgeting and obtaining management approval to promote and engage pan bank employees and their family members through diverse programs
∎ Supports management, Grievance Committee and Sexual Harassment Complaints Committee on employee grievances, harassment complaints etc.
∎ Expedite exit interviews for voluntary departures and appraise, guide the management directly using this tool on reasons for separation, cultural deviation, staff attrition trend and initiates measures to overcome them
∎ Counsels employees on concerns related to applicable labor law, other applicable laws, regulatory guidelines and applicable policies and procedures
∎ Communicates with employees regarding employee relation concerns, provides guidance and recommendations for resolution of issues
∎ Supervises day care facility for the employees in line with bank’s policy
∎ Assists managers and supervisors in understanding and implementing company policies related to performance, discipline, and related issues
∎ Maintains, develops, recommends, and implements Employee Relations program objectives, policies, and procedures.
∎ Develops and pursues new goals and objectives for improvement in areas of Employee Relations
∎ Develops, presents, and administers departmental budget
∎ Performs other related duties as assigned

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ 4 years of related experience required
∎ Proficient in Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 and thorough understanding of human resources and labor relations principles, practices, and procedures
∎ Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
∎ Excellent management, negotiation and problem solving skills
∎ Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, management, and other stakeholders
∎ Working understanding of statistical concepts and methods of data collection
∎ Ability to compile, research, and analyze information
∎ Ability to compose and present comprehensive reports
∎ Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organizations hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software
∎ Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations
∎ Ability to manage stress and handle complex situations
