Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Selection of entrepreneurs, selection of master trainers, selection of lead farmers, and selection of local service providers and formation of production teams according to the selection criteria of members. Taking initiatives in coordination with the activities under implementation by Union Parishad, Upazila Fisheries Officer's office and other like-minded national or international organizations in the work area.
∎ Playing an active role in providing necessary information for training on safe fish production, creating training modules, setting up exhibitions of modern farming technology, preparing various piloting, trials, case studies, research, evaluation, monitoring etc.
∎ Providing technical services to entrepreneurs at the field level, setting up local service centers in collaboration with the private sector, establishing effective linkages between farmers with suppliers of safe farming materials and buyers of safe fish products, etc.
∎ Conducting training on Global Gap to Lead Farmers through Master Trainers, Monitoring Demonstration Farms as per important indicators of Global Gap to members and providing necessary advice.
∎ Prepare producer groups and fish processors for audits on Global Gaps and Accounts Receivable.
∎ Formulation of business plan of entrepreneurs, development of market system, development of value-added product production and marketing system etc.
∎ Regular field visits, monitoring important activities to achieve project goals and providing necessary advice.
∎ Maintaining Product Traceability, IOT & helping entrepreneurs in the use of AI, product branding and certification.
∎ Enhancing the knowledge of entrepreneurs on nutrition and undertaking various activities to improve family nutrition.
∎ To properly carry out other duties assigned by the management.
