Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor or Masters degree in any relevant subject
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform supervise and interact with children or teenagers, assisting them in resolving problems and ensuring their physical and emotional needs are being met.
∎ Providing responsible and helpful advice.
∎ Making herself available to the children whenever they are in need.
∎ Providing a reliable presence in the life of children who may feel otherwise abandoned.
∎ Educating children about social issues like substance abuse and domestic violence.
∎ Motivating youth to achieve academically and/or extra-morally.
∎ Contacting the authorities if she suspects that the child is at risk in their home.
∎ Identify/develop appropriate IEC materials and flashcards in local language and ensure that the materials are used during each counseling
∎ Develop weekly and monthly plans towards the accomplishment of the work plan and monitor the plan accordingly.
∎ Produce weekly and monthly report regarding counseling activities and submit on time
∎ Any other relevant task given by Supervisor.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Good knowledge on health, nutrition, GBV
∎ Good knowledge on counseling
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Reporting and Documentation.
∎ Skill on MS-word, MS-excel, power point, Data Collection App.
∎ Active listener
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving concepts.
∎ Person with disability are encouraged to apply
