Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Assistant System Engineer will support the Server & Virtualization team in managing the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role involves assisting with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers, virtualization platforms, and related systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to ensuring system reliability and efficiency.
∎ 1.    Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows/Linux servers and virtualization platforms.
∎ 2.    Support system monitoring, performance optimization, and routine maintenance tasks.
∎ 3.    Help deploy and manage virtual machines and ensure resource efficiency.
∎ 4.    Troubleshoot basic server and virtualization issues under supervision.
∎ 5.    Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless system operations.
∎ 6.    Document system configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
∎ 7.    Stay updated on emerging technologies and participate in relevant training programs.
