Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary:
The Merchandiser is responsible for visiting retail outlets and corporate clients to ensure products are properly displayed, available on shelves, and well-presented to customers. The role supports the sales team by maintaining stock, executing promotions, and reporting market feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
Visit assigned outlets regularly and check product availability
Arrange products neatly on shelves as per company guidelines
Ensure products are clean, properly labeled, and not expired
Follow FIFO method for stock rotation
Set up promotional materials and displays in stores
Inform the team about stock shortages or issues
Support new product placements in outlets
Collect basic feedback on customer demand and competitor products
Take photos of product displays and share reports
Maintain good relationships with store staff
