Job Context:
∎ Contract Duration - up to June 2020 (with possibility of extension).
∎ Start date - asap.
∎ Under overall guidance and supervision of line manager and in close coordination with partner staff s/he will ensure that the Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition program (I-MAM) is functioning properly, providing care of quality to all the beneficiaries, respecting protocols and principles of good practice.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Make sure the screening, detection and referral mechanism through the network of volunteers is in place.
∎ Ensure screening of U5 children at household level through the community nutrition volunteers / community workers.
∎ Ensure high quality of anthropometric assessments and registration at OTP sites and SFP.
∎ Ensure all the children with the MUAC of <125 mm referred from community to the center for nutritional treatments.
∎ Ensure the arrival and admission of SAM children in the OTP sites and MAM children in the SFP (if the service available).
∎ Ensure all the equipment’s are ready at start of day.
∎ Ensure the community mobilization through the network of volunteers.
∎ Ensure that the measurers are taking accurate measurements (weight, height, MUAC, checking oedema and W/H percentages).
∎ Ensure the accurate record of information related to each beneficiary (Identities, anthropometric measurements, systematic treatment, etc).
∎ Ensure that the eligible children are admitted in the OTP sites / SFP according to the admission criteria.
∎ Explain and make sure the OTP /SFP staff explain to new admissions on the modalities used in the program.
∎ Health and nutrition education is in place and all the beneficiaries benefiting.
∎ Ensure that the calculation of therapeutic food is adequate according to the treatment protocols.
∎ Ensure that each beneficiary is receiving the adequate quantity of ration according to the protocols.
∎ Make sure adequate record of beneficiaries in the OTP sites / SFP: total number of in charge beneficiaries, number of new admissions, number of present beneficiaries, number of absence and defaulters / follow up is in place, number of cured, number of readmission, number of transfer to other programs and valuation of progress (gain of weight, length of stay, etc.).
∎ Ensure adequate follow up of referral cases, absentees and defaulters from OTP sites / SFP
∎ Identification of absentees and defaulters form program and organizing home visiting through Community Nutrition Volunteers.
∎ Follow up and cross checking of referral cases between communities, OTP, health facilities and SFP.
∎ Ensure stock cards are correctly filled in and followed up (in, out, consumption and expiry dates of all the items).
∎ Ensure prepare and submit store requisition for OTP sites /SFP and submit to the nutrition supervisor.
∎ Ensure adequate supply and stock of food and non-food items in each OTP site and SFP.
∎ Supervise the quality of service in the OTP sites and SFP.
∎ Ensure that hygiene and sanitation correct practices are in place of the OTP sites / SFP.

Salary: Tk. 36574 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 1-month Gross salary every year.
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary.
∎ Performance Bonus: from 30 % to 80% of monthly Gross salary per year depending on performance.
∎ End of Contract Benefits: As per organization policy.
