Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure overall On-Time-Delivery of finished products to the next production line.
∎ Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs as per QMS; fabric quality segregation, obtaining QC approval for the sample/ Size/Patterns and bulk sewing accordingly.
∎ Entry the purchase order details in the QMS.
∎ Work with cross-functional teams to include Merchandising, Sourcing, Technical Design and other production units to ensure all phases of division objectives from initial design to final product and delivery, are being achieved.
∎ Identify problems and opportunities and address them to increase efficiency in Production Line/Unit.
∎ Facilitate implementation of all planned initiatives to achieve Operational Excellence.
∎ Ensure Reduction of Non-productive-time (NPD) of Machineries, process loss of material and Cost Per Minute (CPM).
∎ Coordinate daily production activities and delegate assignments to production personnel as per the production schedule finalized in Pre-Production planning meets.
∎ Understanding of sample assessment, pattern making, production & garment construction skills.
∎ Focus on increasing manpower optimization for the unit and reducing Excess Over Time (EOT).
∎ Follow processes & systems for the shop floor for effective utilization of raw material, etc. as per inventory levels and availability.
∎ Coordinate with Supply Chain team and material handlers to supply the workstations with material quickly and efficiently.
∎ Contribute by controlling section wise costs - like reducing raw material cost, yarn wastage, Fabric wastage and fabric line layout measurements.
∎ Prepare data for energy/ raw material/ consumables costs. Take initiatives for implementing measures for production efficiency, reduction in CPM & Process loss of material.
∎ Clear production costs unit wise on daily basis.
∎ Supervise data entry of Inventory, Raw material, Tools, Machine Capacity utilization record, process wise data, etc. in the company ERP for better management of resources and machines.
∎ Work with ERP & MIS team for generation of Wastage and Dead/Rejection Stock, Rework Stock management and preparing other analytics based on the data.

∎ Updated knowledge on sewing technology, garments quality.
∎ Modern methods used in sewing floor.
∎ People management skill.
