Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Perform physical flour/dough tests, including assessing ash content, moisture, protein, and other relevant substances.
∎ Track data, identify trends, and maintain accurate records of test results.
∎ Conduct experimental milling analysis to assess wheat and flour quality.
∎ Document analysis findings, ensure grains meet specifications, and report trend analysis.
∎ Conduct routine environmental monitoring, including monthly/bi-monthly/quarterly check samples.
∎ Ensure proficiency testing and maintain adherence to regulatory standards.
∎ Assist in testing and analysis for Quality Assurance and Research and Development projects.
∎ Document all analytical procedures and findings on lab reports, perform product quality checks, and report results to relevant stakeholders.
∎ Train personnel on safety procedures and policies, ensuring a thorough understanding and compliance.
∎ Attend safety meetings, document hazards, and maintain hazard-free workstations and equipment.
∎ Distribute safety facts to personnel to promote awareness and adherence.
∎ Ensure the performance of laboratory equipment by calibrating and performing routine maintenance.
∎ Maintain hazard-free workstations and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
∎ Monitor inventory of chemicals and instrument parts, ordering supplies as needed.
∎ Update and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemicals and manage the supply budget effectively.
