Handling Customer Complain & Ensure Customer Satisfaction
Adaptability with different environment.
Extensive traveling mind set
Working experience on GPON/EPON/P2P network
Sound knowledge on Transmission network and FTTX technology.
Basic understanding of optical fiber testing, and test instruments.
High level of experiences in fiber optic transmission.
Basic IP networking knowledge.
Good communication skill and team work.
Able to manage field operation team.
Must-Haves: Own Laptop and Smart phone·
Must have a good understanding of the technologies and standards.
Must have a good understanding of the technologies and standards.
Be available for any on call emergency coverage for fiber restoration year-round.
Must be able to differentiate Fiber color codes.
Proficient in the operation of all related fiber tools and equipment.
Excellent customer presentation and service skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment.
Ability to work well under pressure and deadline environments.
Ability to translate highly technical information to end user customers and staff.
Ability to communicate with other staff.
Ability to handle on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities & Context:
Perform site survey of remote locations to ensure quality installation of all racks, equipment power plants, fiber cable, etc. Report any and all defects to the Higher Key.
Participate in on-call rotation schedule for nights and weekends.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned.
Work outdoors in all kinds of weather and at all times of the day or night
Work performed near power lines and electricity.
Prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing information.
Coordinate with network operation team to ensure rollout plan and service delivery.
Manage field operation team and report to line Manager.
Splicing fiber cable for large cable transfers·
Graphical Design for Cable maintenance, Connection testing.
Serve as a technical resource for staff on all fiber related areas and technical procedures.
As the PoP In-charge, he will be accountable for all aspects of PoP maintenance and related responsibilities.
He is also expected to perform any additional tasks assigned by his Supervisor/Team Leader.
