Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent is responsible for overall activities and outcome of an assigned segment of business account with absolute integrity and honesty.
∎ Must have understanding of fabric terms (knowledge of all types particularly Knit & Woven fabrics) and very good knowledge of garments (Knit & Woven) as well as design.
∎ Handle day-to-day Merchandising operations.
∎ Have good knowledge to prepare time and action flow chart to maintain the delivery.
∎ Must have knowledge in denim washing and dry techniques along with costing.
∎ Independent functioning of day to day merchandising activities as per the company requirement.
∎ Develop new embroidery, print, trims with good vendor development
∎ Assignment of jobs and monitoring the activities of production team.
∎ Monitor production and ensures time schedule and quality of garments.
∎ Monitor warehouse receiving, processing warehouse documents and supplier payments in time.
∎ Assist line manager to plan for new season sampling and production orders.
∎ Collecting of garment samples, trims and different types of swatches, updated technical packs / manual (PDM), measurement sheets from the designers.
∎ Submission of samples to designers.
∎ Follow up with designers for approvals and feedback.
∎ Follow up sub-contract (if any) factories for production and ensure 100% quality.
∎ Perform all other job assigned by Department Head, General Manager, Management or owners.
∎ Meeting with vendors for trims & accessories
∎ Assist completion of orders from development till ready for delivery with guidance from seniors.
∎ Follow up the planning/production/quality/warehouse and others team to ensure ready goods on time.
∎ Prepare all kind of production samples such as PP sample, size set sample, shipment sample within allocated deadlines and assist with the preparation team work with internal departments to ensure proper accessories with Branding and design.
∎ Prepare costing sheets based on approved development sample and submit for approvals.
∎ Lead production team to ensure timely delivery.
∎ Communicate with suppliers for raw materials, booking and delivery in time.
∎ Responsible for the coordination of daily operational activities in fabric, pre-production sample development, costing and production tracking.
