Education:

  • LL.B or LL.M from a recognized university.

  • Must be enrolled with the Bangladesh Bar Council.

  • Minimum 7–8 years of relevant legal experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.

  • Prior experience in litigation and credit recovery is preferred.

Additional Requirements:
  • Solid understanding of Bangladesh’s legal and regulatory framework, especially in commercial and labor litigation.

  • Demonstrated ability in legal drafting, advocacy, negotiation, and court proceedings.

  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ability to perform under pressure. 



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Provide legal advice to ensure the company operates in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Bangladesh Labour Law 2006 (including all amendments), particularly in handling labor-related disputes, compliance matters, and regulatory inspections.

  • Draft, review, and issue various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, legal notices, and pleadings.

  • Regularly attend court for case filing, hearings, presenting arguments, and case resolutions.

  • Oversee litigation processes and manage dispute resolution activities efficiently.

  • Act as the company's legal representative in labor court proceedings, dispute resolutions, and employee-related negotiations.

  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date central repository of legal cases and related documentation.

  • Liaise with external legal counsel, court officials, regulators, and other stakeholders as necessary.

  • Handle legal issues related to civil and land matters, such as property disputes and land acquisitions, in accordance with applicable laws.

  • Conduct legal due diligence and issue clearance on land and property transactions, including title checks, mutations, and registrations.

  • Supervise external law firms and offer legal guidance to internal departments as required.

  • Carry out any other legal assignments as directed by management.
