Responsibilities & Context:

• Produce 200-225 Mt quality seeds of different varieties on the basis of production plan

• Select suitable block / land, prepare block layout, ensuring target wise transplantation with maintaining logo and searching chatal with godown as well as labor

• Distribute basic seed to the contact growers and realize seed value in proper time

• Ensure genetic purity (at least 98 %) of produced / procured seeds at different seasons

• Maintain conversion loss at expected level and process loss (maximum 3%) of procured seeds at different seasons

• Direct follow-up and monitor in different production activities such as schedule rouging and spraying) and post-harvest activities as like as threshing, sample checking, drying, cleaning, bagging, weighing, sewing, storing and finally send seeds to the SPC

• Ensure proper utilization & preservation of different production materials

• Provide technical support to the contact growers as well as labour.

• Maintain documents, register and submit repot to the supervisor

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

• Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the respective authority
