Responsibilities & Context:

• Lead all daily operations across sweet corn, pineapple, and mango processing lines, ensuring smooth production flow and achievement of output targets.

• Manage sweet corn activities from crop planning and field supervision to harvesting, receiving, processing, and canning.

• Oversee procurement of high-grade pineapple, including receiving, washing, grading, slicing, preparation, filling, sealing, sterilization, and canning.

• Supervise mango intake, sorting, peeling, slicing, drying/dehydration, pulp preparation, filling, sealing, retorting, and canning.

• Maintain export-grade quality by ensuring strict adherence to hygiene standards, temperature control, sterilization parameters, and safe canning practices.

• Coordinate with QA teams to ensure product safety, batch traceability, compliance documentation, and readiness for export audits.

• Monitor yield, production loss, raw material consumption, and cost per unit, taking corrective action where needed.

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of all processing equipment, including blanchers, dryers, slicers, canning lines, boilers, chillers, sterilizers, and cold storage units.

• Ensure uninterrupted supply of utilities such as steam, refrigeration, water treatment, and compressed air.

• Maintain stock levels of cans, lids, packaging materials, chemicals, additives, and spare parts required for continuous production.

• Lead production supervisors, machine operators, maintenance teams, and field staff; provide training on hygiene, equipment handling, safety, and productivity.

• Build a disciplined and safety-focused working environment across the factory floor.

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, workplace policies, and HR requirements.

• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, including KPIs, downtime analysis, yield performance, and cost insights.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend operational enhancements to management.
