Responsibilities & Context:

Design, implement, and track daily, weekly, and seasonal preventive maintenance schedules for all automated feed mill machinery (including hammer mills, mixers, conditioners, pellet mills, extruders, and packing lines).

Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic breakdowns rapidly to guarantee continuous production and maximum plant efficiency.

Oversee and maintain computerized control rooms, PLC systems, SCADA systems, automated dosing networks, and complex instrumentation grids.

Supervise operation and maintenance of vital utility systems including high-pressure steam boilers, air compressors, diesel generators, and water treatment units.

Ensure all maintenance practices conform to safe working habits, zero-accident factory policies, WHO standards, and strict biosecurity protocols required for animal feed health.

Maintain an accurate inventory of critical spares, consumables, and engineering tools to minimize lead time during equipment breakdowns.

Guide, train, and manage a technical squad of mechanical/electrical engineers, technicians, fabricators, and external vendor teams.
