• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure uninterrupted production.

• Monitor and maintain processing equipment including blanchers, dryers, slicers, canning lines, sterilizers, boilers, chillers, cold storage equipment, pumps, conveyors, and other associated machinery.

• Diagnose mechanical faults, identify root causes, and carry out timely troubleshooting and repair.

• Conduct regular inspection of machinery to identify potential mechanical failures and take preventive measures.

• Ensure proper installation, alignment, adjustment, lubrication, and servicing of mechanical equipment.

• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and minimize production downtime through effective troubleshooting.

• Maintain and monitor critical mechanical spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials required for continuous factory operation.

• Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities without adversely affecting production targets.

• Maintain proper records of preventive maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, spare parts consumption, and equipment downtime.

• Assist in commissioning, installation, testing, and modification of new machinery and production equipment.

• Ensure safe operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment in compliance with factory safety requirements.

• Support the maintenance of utilities including steam, refrigeration, water treatment, compressed air, and other mechanical utility systems.

• Work closely with production and QA teams to ensure machinery operates effectively while maintaining required hygiene and food-safety standards.

• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce breakdowns, minimize downtime, and improve maintenance efficiency.

• Guide and supervise technicians, machine operators, and maintenance helpers during maintenance and repair activities.

• Prepare maintenance reports and provide updates to management regarding breakdowns, downtime, maintenance activities, and equipment condition.

• Perform any other technical and maintenance-related responsibilities assigned by management.
