Responsibilities & Context:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for agricultural land development and farm projects.

• Assess soil, land characteristics, water resources, and climate conditions to determine the most suitable use of each land parcel.

• Recommend suitable crops, orchards, fisheries, livestock, agroforestry, or other commercially viable agricultural ventures based on land potential.

• Prepare feasibility studies, business plans, and development proposals for new agricultural initiatives.

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of agricultural and land development projects.

• Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.

• Introduce modern farming technologies and sustainable agricultural practices to maximize productivity and profitability.

• Develop seasonal crop planning and recommend appropriate cultivation methods based on land suitability.

• Supervise day-to-day farm operations and ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

• Coordinate with government agencies, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

• Identify new agricultural investment opportunities and recommend innovative strategies to maximize land value.

• Lead, mentor, and supervise farm personnel and project teams.

• Prepare periodic operational, technical, and financial reports for the Director and Management.
