Experience:

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Master of Science (MSc) in genetics & Plant Breeding

• Training on farmer-led rice breeding;

• Training on Farmer-led Development (FLD)/Farmer-led Approaches (FLA), community facilitation and sustainable agriculture.

• Master's degree or higher in Agriculture (preferably in Plant Breeding, Genetics or Rice Breeding);

• At least five (5) years of relevant professional experience in farmer-led plant breeding and participatory agricultural development;

• Proven expertise in Farmer-led Development (FLD)/Farmer-led Approaches (FLA), community facilitation and sustainable agriculture.

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Age At least 40 years

• Willing to work with the farmers at field level.

The selected consultant will provide technical support in

• Farmer-led Development (FLD),

• Farmer-led rice breeding, participatory seed conservation,

• Farmer cooperative enterprise development, and

• Capacity building of project staff and farming communities in Mymensingh and Sherpur districts.

  Note: The consultancy will be implemented over the project period (March 2026 – February 2028) through periodic assignments of up to 15 working days per project year.
