Responsibilities & Context:

1. Manage overall depot operations and ensure effective coordination with Sales, Supply Chain, Accounts, HR, and other departments to optimize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

2. Receive finished goods from the factory/warehouse against delivery challan and verify product quantity, batch number, quality condition, and proper stacking arrangement.

3. Ensure proper storage and handling of products according to company guidelines and maintain FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.

4. Prepare and maintain efficient delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective product distribution.

5. Coordinate with distributors, sales teams, and transport personnel to ensure smooth and timely delivery of products.

6. Maintain accurate records of all depot-related transactions, stock movement, and operational documents.

7. Enter all depot-related expenses into the system, manage petty cash, and ensure proper reconciliation with supporting documents.

8. Conduct regular physical stock counts, update inventory records, and immediately report any stock, quantity, or batch discrepancies.

9. Monitor delivery vehicles, maintain vehicle logbooks, supervise drivers, and coordinate vehicle maintenance/repairs or third-party logistics (3PL) services.

10. Regularly visit customers/distributors to ensure service quality, understand market conditions, and verify customer accounts.

11. Ensure all daily depot administrative activities are performed in compliance with company policies, including health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines.

12. Maintain accurate attendance records of depot employees, drivers, security personnel, and support staff.

13. Support and execute SAP/ERP-related depot activities and ensure accurate system updates.
