Job Context:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Veterinary Doctor to oversee the health management of dairy farms. The candidate will be responsible for disease prevention, treatment, biosecurity, vaccination programs, and improving overall farm productivity.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor the health status of dairy animals on a regular basis.
Diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases affecting dairy livestock.
Plan and implement vaccination, medication, and deworming schedules.
Develop and maintain biosecurity protocols to minimize disease outbreaks.
Provide technical guidance on nutrition, breeding, animal welfare, and farm management.
Conduct post-mortem examinations and investigate disease outbreaks.
Prescribe medicines and supervise treatment procedures.
Coordinate with farm supervisors to ensure proper animal health and production management.
Maintain health records, treatment reports, and medicine inventory.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs and government regulations.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
