Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to support tissue culture laboratory operations, aeroponic cultivation, and potato minituber production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality plant propagation, maintaining laboratory standards, optimizing production processes, and achieving annual production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and optimize plant tissue culture protocols and culture media.

• Maintain stock solutions, laboratory chemicals, and consumables.

• Plan and execute monthly tissue culture production activities.

• Monitor and maintain growth rooms, laboratory equipment, and sterile working conditions.

• Source and maintain healthy mother plants for tissue culture propagation.

• Supervise plantlet acclimatization (hardening) before greenhouse or field transfer.

• Maintain accurate production records, laboratory documentation, and inventory.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual production reports.

• Plan and manage annual crop cultivation under aeroponic systems.

• Prepare and optimize nutrient solutions for different crops.

• Analyze production data and recommend process improvements.

• Supervise land and net-house preparation for potato minituber production.

• Ensure production, storage, and quality maintenance of potato minitubers.

• Coordinate the timely handover of quality minitubers to the Seed Production Team.

• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, quality standards, and organizational SOPs.
