Responsibilities & Context:

1. Develop and optimize balanced feed formulations for fish, cattle, and poultry based on species, breed, age, growth stage, and production requirements.

2. Calculate and maintain appropriate levels of protein, energy, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, fat, fiber, and other essential nutrients in feed formulations.

3. Evaluate the nutritional value, quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness of different feed ingredients.

4. Coordinate with the Quality Control/Laboratory team for raw material testing and nutritional quality assessment.

5. Develop cost-effective feed formulations while maintaining required nutritional and quality standards.

6. Monitor the performance and effectiveness of feed through growth, Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR), milk production, egg production, meat production, and other relevant performance indicators.

7. Conduct feed trials and field trials to evaluate new formulations, ingredients, and feed additives.

8. Research and recommend suitable feed additives, enzymes, probiotics, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and alternative raw materials.

9. Provide technical support and nutritional recommendations to the Production, Quality Control, Sales, Marketing, and Technical Service teams.

10. Develop feeding guidelines and provide technical advice to farmers, dealers, and customers regarding proper feed usage and management.

11. Monitor market trends, competitor products, new feed ingredients, and emerging technologies in the feed and animal nutrition industry.

12. Ensure feed formulations comply with applicable feed safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.

13. Prepare technical reports, formulation reports, trial reports, and other nutrition-related documents for management.

14. Work closely with the production team to ensure proper implementation of approved feed formulations during commercial production.

15. Identify nutritional problems affecting animal/fish performance and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
