  • Age 30 to 45 years
  • Experience in managing multiple ponds or integrated fisheries operations will be considered an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of aquaculture production systems, fish nutrition, water quality management, and fish disease control.

  • Excellent leadership, planning, and project management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and report preparation.

  • Ability to work independently in remote project locations when required.

  • Good communication and team management skills.



Responsibilities & Context:

Remi Farms Ltd, a sister concern of Bitopi Group, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join our team as Manager - Fisheries at our facility in Trishal, Mymensingh.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and manage all fisheries project activities to ensure sustainable and profitable operations.

  • Oversee pond preparation, stocking, feeding, water quality management, fish health, and harvesting.

  • Prepare annual production plans, budgets, and operational schedules.

  • Monitor fish growth, survival rate, feed conversion ratio (FCR), and overall productivity.

  • Ensure compliance with biosecurity, environmental, and government regulations.

  • Lead and supervise fisheries officers, supervisors, and field staff to achieve production targets.

  • Identify and implement modern aquaculture technologies and best management practices.

  • Coordinate procurement of fish fry, feed, medicines, equipment, and other project requirements.

  • Maintain accurate production, inventory, cost, and performance records.

  • Prepare regular project progress reports and recommend improvement initiatives.

  • Liaise with government authorities, research institutions, and other stakeholders when required.

  • Ensure proper maintenance of ponds, hatcheries (if applicable), equipment, and project infrastructure.
