Responsibilities & Context:

• To develop, manage and expand the company's Contract Farming Business for Spice, Turmeric and Mustard etc.

• Select appropriate crop varieties and production technologies.

• Conduct soil, crop, pest, disease, and nutrient assessments.

• Provide technical recommendations to improve crop yield and quality.

• Develop and monitor Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).

• Analyze crop performance, yield, input efficiency, and production costs.

• Prepare technical and analytical reports with recommendations for management.

• Design and conduct technical training and capacity-building programs for farmers and field staff.

• Supervise and provide technical guidance to Block Supervisors/Diploma-level field staff.

• Support contract farming strategy, crop planning, and production targets.

• Identify production risks and implement corrective and preventive measures.

• Monitor compliance with technical standards and contract farming requirements.

• Coordinate with procurement, quality, finance, management, and field teams.

• Conduct trials and demonstrations of improved agricultural technologies.

• Take responsibility for overall technical performance and productivity.

• Monitor yield estimation, quality control, harvesting, and procurement activities.

• Collect, verify, and analyze field data for decision-making.

• Monitor contract implementation and support resolution of farmer-level issues.
