Responsibilities & Context:

• Drive the daily packaging operations to ensure all finished goods are packed in a timely and systematic manner to meet daily distribution targets

• Ensure the requisition of all necessary packaging materials (e.g., stickers, packets, cartons, sacks, threads)

• Supervise packaging labor and ensure required seed volumes are supplied to workers promptly before packing starts

• Ensure accurate weighing and secure heat sealing for all packaged products

• Oversee the physical handover of finished products to the distribution and store teams, ensure accurate counts and timely transfer

• Ensure strict adherence to all established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across every phase of the packaging process

• Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) unit to verify that the correct seed variety, lot, and quality are being packaged

• Manage and monitor the sticker pasting and packet printing activities, ensure all seals and printed information are accurate and have been properly vetted by the QC team

• Maintain accurately updated BIN cards and ensure accuracy in all inventory tracking systems

• Prepare and submit accurate daily labor bills to the supervisor

• Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all supporting documents and registers (daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly).

• Provide detailed daily activity reports to the supervisor and coordinate with higher management as required

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

• Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
