Experience:

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Insurance

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)/ Master of Commerce (M.COM) in Accounting from a Public University

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Insurance

• CA (CC) from a Reputed CA firm with Professional Level Passed

• Candidates having prior experience in ERP will have an added advantage

• Strong knowledge of Bangladesh VAT & Tax Laws and Regulations.

• In-depth knowledge of the Insurance Act, Regulations & SRO.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel functions, MS Word, and PowerPoint

• Ability to lead a team, work well independently, and within a team

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work accurately under pressure and be effective at multitasking

  Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Manage all VAT & Tax-related activities in compliance with local laws and regulations.

• Prepare and file periodic VAT and Tax returns accurately and on time.

  Maintain proper documentation and records for VAT and Tax audits.

• Assist in resolving any VAT & Tax-related queries and handle assessments by tax authorities.

• Monitor changes in VAT & Tax laws and recommend necessary actions for compliance.

• Support management with tax planning and cost optimization initiatives.

• Ensure accurate calculation and deduction of Withholding VAT & Tax and timely deposits.

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors on VAT & Tax matters.
