Additional Requirements:
CA (CC) from a Reputed CA firm with Professional Level Passed
Candidates having prior experience in ERP will have an added advantage
Strong knowledge of Bangladesh VAT & Tax Laws and Regulations.
In-depth knowledge of the Insurance Act, Regulations & SRO.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel functions, MS Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to lead a team, work well independently, and within a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work accurately under pressure and be effective at multitasking
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Responsibilities & Context:
Manage all VAT & Tax-related activities in compliance with local laws and regulations.
Prepare and file periodic VAT and Tax returns accurately and on time.
Maintain proper documentation and records for VAT and Tax audits.
Assist in resolving any VAT & Tax-related queries and handle assessments by tax authorities.
Monitor changes in VAT & Tax laws and recommend necessary actions for compliance.
Support management with tax planning and cost optimization initiatives.
Ensure accurate calculation and deduction of Withholding VAT & Tax and timely deposits.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors on VAT & Tax matters.
