Education:
  • Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

  • Higher academic qualifications in Social Science, Economics, Development Studies, Management, or related fields will be considered an added advantage.

  • At least 3 years of practical experience in organizing and conducting training programs, preferably in the NGO sector.

  • Specific experience in training for microfinance operations and management is highly desirable.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong ability to design, develop, and deliver training modules, content, and presentations.

  • Skilled in training budget preparation, scheduling, and financial monitoring.

  • Certification in Training & Development or Microfinance-related programs will be considered an advantage.

  • Experience in developing learning content and training modules.

  • Strong report-writing skills in both Bangla and English.

  • Teamwork, accountability, and a positive attitude towards learning new skills.

  • Proficiency in computer operation and communication tools.



Responsibilities & Context:

National Development Programme (NDP) is a national level non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political development organization in Bangladesh, registered under NGO Affairs Bureau (Reg. No. 880/1995). Since its establishment in 1992, NDP has been working with a vision to create a just and poverty-free society by empowering disadvantaged and marginalized communities. Alongside its microfinance program supported by Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), NDP also implements various education, health, nutrition, housing, and social development initiatives with the support of development partners including WFP.

NDP Technical Institute successfully conducting 3-month training program on “Microfinance Program Operation and Management.” To strengthen its training department and expand its microfinance-related capacity-building initiatives, NDP is looking for a qualified and dynamic individual for the position of Assistant Manager (Training) under Core program.

Job Context:

The Assistant Manager (Training) will be responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring training programs, especially in the microfinance sector & 3-month training program on “Microfinance Program Operation and Management” under the NDP Technical Institute. The role requires expertise in curriculum development, session facilitation, trainee evaluation, and ensuring the impact of training programs on organizational effectiveness. The position demands both classroom-based training expertise and practical field-level microfinance implementation experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Organize and conduct training programs relevant to the microfinance sector.

  • Prepare and manage training budgets and ensure cost-effective implementation.

  • Develop training schedules, modules, session plans, content, presentations, and training materials.

  • Prepare question papers and conduct pre-tests, cluster/classroom tests, and post-tests with proper evaluation.

  • Monitor, evaluate, and prepare reports on trainees’ performance.

  • Maintain effective communication with trainees, management, program representatives, and other stakeholders.

  • Ensure proper documentation, database, and reporting of training activities.

  • Manage training centers, classrooms, accommodation, and dining facilities efficiently.

  • Ensure photo/video documentation and systematic record keeping.

  • Demonstrate accountability, adaptability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Maintain a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and readiness for field visits related to microfinance program implementation.

  • Use computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Graphics) effectively for training and reporting.

  • Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the authority.



Job Other Benifits:
    • After confirmation, salary will be BDT. 41,000 & other benefits as per NDP policy.
