Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct regular assessments of training and development needs through surveys, interviews, and consultations with managers and employees.
∎ Identify gaps in employee skills and knowledge and recommend appropriate training solutions.
∎ Design and develop training programs, courses, and materials that address specific skill gaps and enhance employee performance.
∎ Create both in-house training programs and source external training providers as needed.
∎ Organize and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
∎ Ensure that training programs are delivered effectively and efficiently, utilizing various training methods (e.g., e-learning, classroom training, on-the-job training).
∎ Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
∎ Continuously improve training programs based on evaluation results and emerging industry trends.
∎ Develop and manage the training budget, ensuring that all training activities are cost-effective and within budget constraints.
∎ Ensure that all training programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
∎ Maintain accurate records of training activities and provide regular reports to senior management.
∎ Lead and mentor a team of training coordinators and facilitators.
∎ Collaborate with HR and department managers to align training initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
∎ Position Overview: The Training and Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the training and professional development of an organization’s employees. This role involves identifying training needs, creating and implementing training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness. The Training and Development Manager works closely with department heads and HR to ensure that all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively and advance their careers within the company.
