Responsibilities & Context:
  • Familiarity with garments industry shipment Operations and able to take full responsibility of shipment.

  • Assist HOD for preparing policy & procedure for achieving business year goal. Develop and implement inventory management policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize inventory levels and ensure accuracy.

  • Monitor inventory levels and stock movements to identify trends, anticipate demand, and minimize stock-outs and overstock situations.

  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies.

  • Coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely delivery of goods and maintain optimal stock levels.

  • Analyze inventory data and generate reports to track key performance metrics, such as inventory turnover, stock accuracy and fill rates.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including DGM(SIC), purchasing teams, and logistics providers, to ensure smooth inventory operations.

  • Implement inventory control measures to prevent shortage, loss, or theft of inventory items.

  • Lead and supervise a team of inventory and associates, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback as needed.

  • Utilize the existing systems to maximize space utilization and improve inventory efficiency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR & Admin, Audit, Utility, IES and Operations to manage demand. Maintain the stock records & documentations on incoming & outgoing goods.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software and systems. (Oracle, TMS etc.) Maintain departmental compliance,5S, internal & external audit.
