Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline.
∎ Candidates should have Six months of Fire Safety Manager course from the Fire service & Civil Defense Department.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain a full functional and effective fire safety management system in factories.
∎ The person must be able to handle internal fire safety training for the workers and staff.
∎ Prepare all safety standards, reports & documentation regarding fire safety issues.
∎ Maintain & ensure safety in all production area, factory premises and make sure a free & un-block evacuation for all employees.
∎ Ensure that all fireman, fire fighters and security personnel are in right order and perform their duties as per requirement.
∎ Monitor / supervise the electrical/ power cables / loose wires properly placed and to take remedial measures immediately with Proper channel.
∎ Monitor and ensure that facility of fire hydrant & fire pumps are adequate and are working properly.
∎ Daily walk round/ floor visit & ensure firefighting equipment and follow up the daily check list activities of the firefighting team.
∎ Have sound knowledge on Building & Fire Safety Standards of Accord, Alliance, BNBC, and NFPA & Fire Service Rules.
∎ Analyses the risk assessment and take necessary action and report to management.
∎ Daily floor visit & ensure to Floor Compliance and follow up the Daily Compliance Check List given by the higher authority.
∎ Ensure hot work permit & confined space work permit.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Compliance, Fire and Safety, Fire Protection and Detection System, Auto CAD
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Group of Companies, Spinning, Textile.
∎ Candidate should have knowledge of fire hydrant system, fire drill & industrial evacuation plan.
∎ Experience from Bangladesh Defense in Fire & Safety Department will be given preference.
∎ Hard working, Good inter-personal & communication skills.
∎ Good team player, well-organized, initiative and detail-oriented.
